In the summer of 2014 ISCM together with other NGOs held training on “Developing and producing of animation movies and cartoons” within the project “Establishment of regional youth groups of socio-cultural animation”.
The training took place in Causeni city, Moldova. The training was attended by 14 children, namely students 6 – 9 classes of Moldova and Transnistria. The number of short video clips, including the animated cartoon “Big Carrot“ was set up in the course of creative work during the training.
In October 2014 in the framework of this project, in Ribnita city, Transnistria has held a festival of the social cartoon “friendly Pinocchio”. The aim of the festival was to strengthen the atmosphere of cooperation, mutual respect, and creativity of young people and community representatives of Rybnita, Causeni and other regions of Moldova and other countries. Guests and participants were able to review the social cartoons which were made during the summer training by participants from Rybnytsia and Causeni.
All participants of the festival were awarded diplomas and prizes. Trainers from the Institute of Socio-Cultural Management held master-class on socio-cultural animation. There were many positive emotions after the festival.
Would like to note, despite the young age, children in their cartoons have described very serious themes. The high level of unity, trust, friendship, and respect were the most important among the participants. Guys from Ribnita created animation studio LineAnimaS.
