Finding ways to promote the democratization of Ukraine has become an important direction of the work of Institute of Socio-Cultural Management. Roundtable “Challenges after Euromaidan – public sector in Action” was conducted on June 26, 2014.
It was realized by the civil sector of Euromaidan, the Education for Democracy Foundation (Warsaw city, Poland) Network “Ukraine Civic Initiative ” Lion Society and the Institute of Socio-Cultural Management (regional partner in Kirovograd region). Roundtable “Challenges after Euromaidan – public sector in action” was visited by public figures, representatives of initiative, formal or informal groups of Kirovograd, TV journalists.
The question of old and new challenges that appeared to organizations of civil society in Kirovograd after the Maidan were discussed at the roundtable. Also what is the situation today in the region, priority goals and objectives of the civil society, the vision of system change were discussed. Immediate and future challenges were identified, an action plan for further work discussed, as a result of the roundtable.
In July 2014, activists and concerned citizens gathered just for regional development of Ukraine’s civil society planning session to discuss the challenges and future prospects of our country after Euromaidan.
The event was organized by the Institute of Socio-Cultural Management in Kirovograd with the participation of specialists from different areas of Kirovograd region (Mala Wyska Novoukrainka, Oleksandrivka). Aspects of further actions were planned and discussed.
